Fall Wine Ramble

The Yolo County Vineyard and Winery Association presents the inaugural Fall Wine Ramble!

On Saturday, November 13, and Sunday, November 14, visit 11 local wineries (at 13 locations!) for a jam-packed weekend of wine tasting, food trucks, and live entertainment! This is a family-friendly event you won’t want to miss! Each winery will be partnering with a charity in order to give back all weekend long.

See details for each specific winery below, and be sure to plan your visit along the Yolo County wine trail to make the most of your weekend! We can’t wait to see you!

Berryessa Gap Vineyards

o  Charity: Winters Community Thanksgiving Dinner organized by Maria Rojo (local Winters volunteers provide a free Thanksgiving meal for families in need)

o   There will be a designated area at both locations for any canned & boxed foods, to-go containers, plastic silverware, and napkins that people would like to physically donate and cash donations will also be accepted

o   Food trucks at the winery location both days

o   Winery location open 12p-6p and Downtown Winters location open Satur. 11-9p and Sunday 11-6p

 

Capay Valley Vineyards

o  Charity: Friends of the Esparto Regional Library

o   Raffle basket of wine and goodies to benefit the friends who provide extra hours and programs for our library.

o Open 12-5pm both days at winery building

o Music both days from 1-4pm (Saturday: Cliff Huey Live (country rock), Sunday: Alan Spilkin (blues/rock))

 

Elevation Ten

o Charity: Saint John’s Program for Real Change (Elevation Ten will donate $5.00 of each tasting fee)

o Live music and wine both days

o  Tasting Room open 10:30a- 4pm

Great Bear Vineyards

o Charity: Yolo Food Bank

o Donating $5 from each tasting and will also collect additional donations using a QR code direct to YFB

o Reservations Required (seating is limited)

Grindstone Winery

o Charity: Woodland Police Department’s Fill the Trunk Drive

o Accepting donations of new unwrapped toys and clothing for ages 0-18 years as well as giftcards & cash.

o Large gift basket RAFFLE- $5 tickets, all proceeds go to Woodland P.D. ‘Fill The Trunk’ event

o Saturday: Smokin’ Ewe BBQ food truck from 11-4 pm and Lucy’s Bones Music on the Patio 1-3 pm

o Sunday: Hefty Gyros food truck from 11-4pm

o  Open both days 11am - 4pm

JDM Estate

o Charity: Meals on Wheels

o  Tastings being conducted at their event space - Windmill Vineyards off County Rd. 19

Matchbook Wine Company

o Charity: Yolo Food Bank Funds Drive

o Saturday: Pollo Inferno Food Truck, Live Music (by the band Stone’s Throw) Reservations required! Call (530)662-1032 ext 215

o Sunday: Fall Vendor Fair, Live Music (acoustic guitar with Jimmy Ashley) No reservations needed!

o  Open both days 11am - 4:30pm

Séka Hills

o Charity: Yolo Crisis Nursery

o Saturday: Live music by Yolo Hot Club from 1-3pm and food by Yolo Eats

o Sunday: Live music by the Jane Thompson Trio from 1-3pm and food by Chando’s Tacos

o  Both locations open both days 11am - 5pm

Simas Family Wines

o Charity: Esparto High School Career Technical Education Program

o  Tastings being conducted at their vineyards

 

Taber Ranch Vineyard & Event Center

o Charity: Esparto High School Career Technical Education Program

o Raffle on Saturday and goods sold on Sunday to benefit the charity

o Music and food both days

o  Tasting Room open both days 11am - 5pm

Turkovich Family Wines

o Charity: Toy drive with Winters Fire Department

o Special dish plus glass of wine for $12

o  Downtown Winters location open Satur. 10a-9p and Sunday 10a-8p
